‘The Walled Up Woman’ is a monologue in the character of an unknown anchoress.


Written and performed by Georgina Lock, the script is based on the Ancrene Wisse, a medieval guide for anchoresses.


The 45-minute monologue will be followed by a Q and A session.


Georgina Lock is a scriptwriter, film maker, actress and independent scholar of theatre history, based in Suffolk and Spain.
