A letter from Father Richard Stanton about the new Pilgrim Chaplain | Sunday, 26th September at 5.00pm

Father Richard writes,

"Dear friends,

      We are looking forward to welcoming Fr Bruce-Julian Batstone as part-time Pilgrim Chaplain at the Julian Shrine, alongside his responsibilities as part-time Vicar of St Mark's Lakenham.  I am grateful to the Trustees of the Julian Fund for their commitment of funding for three years to facilitate this opportunity to enhance our ministry and support the developing work here.

      Fr Bruce-Julian will be instituted and inducted as Vicar of his new Parish, and licensed as Pilgrim Chaplain, during a liturgy on Sunday 21 September at 4pm at St Mark's Lakenham, at which everyone is welcome.

      He will celebrate Mass for the first time at St Julian's following his licensing on Friday 26 September at 5pm.  Afterwards drinks will be served in the Julian Centre.  Many of you will have commitments at that time of day, but I warmly invite those able to come to share with us in the offering of the Mass and the opportunity to welcome Fr Bruce-Julian to his new role in this much-loved place.
