Two recently published books to draw to your attention

Salvador Ryan, ed., Domestic Devotions in Medieval and Early Modern Europe, May, 2020
This is a collection of articles previously published during 2019 and 2020 in the online open access journal Religions which includes Juliana Dresvina’s ‘What Julian Saw: The Embodied Showings and the Items for Private Devotions’, originally published in Religions 10: 4 (2019), 245

Ellyn Sanna, The Cookbook of Julian of Norwich: From Hazelnuts to Pottages (A Collection of Medieval Recipes), Vestal, NY: Anamchara Books, November, 2020
A coffee table – or, perhaps, kitchen work-top? – book full of delights, ranging from drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), through blawmanger (chicken and rice casserole), to sambocade (elderflower cheesecake), beautifully illustrated and accompanied by Julian’s words.
