A Very Short Liturgy of Reconciliation

Father Luke writes,

"As Julian herself writes in Revelations of Divine Love ‘Prayer unites us to God.’ Reconciliation is quite simply the restoration of friendly relations. Just as there are times in our lives when we need to say we’re sorry to our family or friends, so, too, there are times when we feel we need a change in the relationship between God and us, his sons and daughters, no matter how young or how old we are. 

"We know there has been a breakdown in our relationship with God, with our family or with our friends, but there comes a time when we grow aware for the need to change from a feeling of enmity and fragmentation to one of harmony and fellowship.

"As we read and pray the words that can be found here from Julian of Norwich’s Revelations of Divine Love we can begin a time of reconciliation, a time of healing."
